Thank you for your submission to the Wurstfest Masskrugstemmen Contest. You must provide your ID between 35 minutes and 1 hour prior to the event at the Masskrugstemmen tent. Failure to do so will cause the reservation to be forfeited.

Masskrugstemmen Rules

• All contestants must be 21 years of age.
• Contestants must hold a 1-liter Masskrug (stein) filled to the top with beer (about 5 pounds) at arm’s length for as long as possible. Last person standing wins the competition.
• The Masskrug is to be held with one arm, straight out in front of the body with the label of the beer stein facing outward. The arm cannot bend during the competition.
• The Masskrug must be held by the handle.
• The thumb cannot be on top of the Masskrug handle.
• If the stein holding arm is not absolutely parallel to the floor or bends during the competition, the contestant will receive a warning. On the third warning, the contestant will be disqualified.
• Opposite arm must be straight down, not supporting the body in any way.
• Contestants may slightly lean back, while holding the Masskrug, but judges will issue warnings if contestants lean too far back.
• Any spilling of the beer results in immediate disqualification.
