The Texas Sound Check Band has performed 21 consecutive years at Wurstfest (excluding 2020). Formerly known as the City Polka Boys, the group has been in existence for over 50 years. The City Polka Boys were an instrumental part of Wurstfest back in the day. For many years, we played on both weekends in Wursthalle, then moved to Stelzenhaus when it was built. We are one of the few bands to still play traditional German music, along with polkas, waltzes, country, Spanish, rock and many speciality songs.
