The Walburg Boys play an eclectic mix of music built on a Bavarian foundation. Founder Ronny Tippelt, accordian and yodler/vocalist, is from Munich Germany and grew up learning his craft in a traditional setting. He studied under the instruction of the great “Jodlerkonig” Franzl Lang. The band also includes Quintin Dubec – keys, saxophone, guitar, vocals & sound mixer for the band; Scott Fischer – bass; Rusty Swanson – fiddle, occasional guitar and occasional vocals; and Steve Q – drummer. From tender ballads and traditional Alpine to country and party rock, there is something for everyone. The Walburg Boys are the principal entertainment at Walburg German Restaurant and Biergarten in Walburg, Texas. They travel all over the U.S. and Europe providing a high energy festival performance of truly authentic Texan/Bavarian music.
