Wurstfest Named in Best RV-Friendly Festivals Ranking

Wurstfest was recently featured in MySA.

A German town in the Hill Country has made a name for itself through its annual festival that has grown into a national attraction. New Braunfels’ Wurstfest can now add another notch to its belt with yet another recognition.

The German festival was recognized as one of the best RV-friendly festivals in the state, according to TechBullion, a financial tech site based in London. From music and food to arts and crafts, Wursfest curates a welcoming environment for locals and tourists alike.

The 10-day festival, which starts on the first Friday of November, pays tribute to the town’s heritage with music and food. Much of its draw comes from the plenty of sausage and pitchers of beer.

Aside from the festival itself, Wurstfests was recognized for its RV-friendly status because of the town’s many RV sites, including Landa RV & Campground, which is only one mile away from the festival grounds. New Braunfels is also home to the buzzy Camp Fimfo, which is equipped with full RV hookups, on-site dining, a swim-up bar, a water playground for the kiddos, and yes, even Texas’ only alpine coaster.

Wurstfest was listed as one of the best RV-friendly festivals alongside Austin’s South by Southwest global festival and Austin City Limits Music Festival. Texas SandFest in Port Aransas was also recognized on the list.

The 2024 Wurstfest will be held from November 1st to the 10th and is located at 120 Landa St., New Braunfels, TX 78130. Tickets for the festival will be available starting September 1, 2024.
