Wurstfest Neighbors Ticket Giveaways — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

These Official Rules govern each of the ticket giveaways run in partnership with local businesses and creators as part of the Wurstfest Neighbors campaign. By entering, you agree to these rules.

New Braunfels, Texas 78130 (“Wurstfest” or “Sponsor”).

Administrator. Sponsor administers each giveaway, including the drawing and prize fulfillment. The partner business or creator whose account hosts a giveaway is not the sponsor or administrator, does not select the winner, and does not handle prizes.

  1. Promotion period

The campaign runs from September 22 through November 16, 2026. Each individual giveaway has its own entry window, stated in the hosting partner’s post. All times are U.S. Central Time.

  1. Who can enter

Open to legal residents of the State of Texas who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The following are not eligible: directors, officers, members and employees of Sponsor; members of the Wurstfest Association of New Braunfels; the hosting partner and its owners and employees; and the immediate family members of, and persons living in the same household as, any of the above. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their spouses.

Winning is not limited by age at the festival. A winner may bring guests of any age, and children 12 and under are admitted free at Wurstfest regardless of this promotion.

  1. How to enter

During a giveaway’s entry window, on the hosting partner’s post:

  1. Follow @Wurstfest and the hosting partner’s account on the platform where the post appears; and
  2. Leave a comment on that post naming who you would bring.

That is one entry. Entry is free.

Limit one entry per person per giveaway. You may enter more than one partner’s giveaway, but you may win only once across the entire campaign. If you are drawn a second time, another entrant is drawn in your place.

Additional entries offered by a hosting partner for sharing the post to a story, where offered, are a bonus only and are never required to enter.

Entries that do not count. Comments posted after the close time; comments from accounts created for the purpose of entering; entries submitted by bot, script, or any automated means; multiple comments from the same person, of which only the first counts; entries from accounts that are private at the time of the drawing, since Sponsor cannot verify or contact them; and any entry Sponsor reasonably determines to be fraudulent or in bad faith. Sponsor’s determination is final.

Your entry, and the account you enter from, must be your own. You must have the right to enter using that account.

  1. The prize

One prize per giveaway: four (4) general admission tickets to Wurstfest 2026, valid for one weekend day of the winner’s choice, subject to availability.

Wurstfest 2026 runs November 6 through 15, 2026, in New Braunfels, Texas. Weekend days for the purpose of this prize are Friday November 6, Saturday November 7, Sunday November 8, Friday November 13, Saturday November 14, and Sunday November 15.

Approximate retail value: up to $120 per prize, based on Wurstfest’s published gate admission rates. Actual value varies by the day selected. Weeknight admission, Monday November 9 through Thursday November 12, is free to the general public and is not part of this prize.

What the prize does not include. Food, beverages, merchandise, parking, transportation, lodging, ride or game tickets, reserved seating, or anything else not expressly stated above. All other expenses are the winner’s responsibility.

Conditions. The prize is awarded as-is, has no cash value, and may not be sold, auctioned, or exchanged for cash. It is non-transferable except that the winner may bring guests of the winner’s choosing. Tickets are subject to Wurstfest’s standard admission terms and to all rules and conduct policies in effect at the grounds. Admission may be refused or revoked in accordance with those policies, and no substitute prize is owed in that event.

Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

The winner is responsible for any taxes arising from the prize. Because the value is below the federal reporting threshold, Sponsor does not expect to issue a Form 1099, but the winner remains responsible for their own tax obligations.

Unclaimed or forfeited prizes are not awarded, except as provided in section 5.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for that giveaway.

  1. How the winner is chosen and notified

Drawing. Within two business days after a giveaway’s entry window closes, Sponsor draws one winner at random from all eligible entries received for that giveaway. The drawing is conducted by Sponsor. The hosting partner does not select the winner.

Notification. Sponsor contacts the winner by direct message from the official @Wurstfest account on the platform where the entry was made, normally within 24 hours of the drawing. Sponsor will not ask for payment, a Social Security number, or financial account information at any point. Messages requesting those things are not from Sponsor.

Claiming the prize. The winner must respond to Sponsor’s message within forty-eight (48) hours and confirm which weekend day they want. A winner who does not respond within 48 hours, who declines, or who is found to be ineligible forfeits the prize, and Sponsor draws an alternate from the remaining eligible entries. Sponsor will draw up to two alternates per giveaway, after which the prize goes unawarded.

Delivery. Tickets are delivered electronically or arranged for pickup, at Sponsor’s discretion, before opening night.

Sponsor is not responsible for a message that does not reach a winner because of platform message filtering, a full or restricted inbox, an account that blocks messages from accounts it does not follow, a changed handle, or a deleted account. Entrants are encouraged to check their message requests.

  1. Release and limitation of liability

By entering, you release Sponsor, the hosting partner, and each of their officers, directors, members, employees, volunteers and agents from any claim, liability, injury, loss or damage arising out of your participation in this promotion or your acceptance, possession or use of a prize, including attendance at Wurstfest.

Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or not received for any reason, including platform outages, technical failures, or human error; for any error in these rules or in any promotional material, which Sponsor may correct; or for any act or omission of the hosting partner.

If fraud, a technical failure, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of a giveaway, Sponsor may modify, suspend or cancel that giveaway and award the prize from among the eligible entries received before the problem arose.

Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

  1. Not sponsored by the platforms

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, or any other social media platform. You understand you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to any platform. Each platform is completely released from any claim by every entrant.

  1. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize you consent to Sponsor’s and the hosting partner’s use of your name, account handle, and comment in connection with announcing the winner and promoting the campaign, in any medium, without additional compensation. Sponsor will not use your photograph or likeness without asking you first.

  1. Privacy

Sponsor collects only what is needed to run the giveaway: your account handle, your comment, and whatever contact details you provide to claim a prize. Sponsor does not sell this information and does not share it with the hosting partner except as needed to announce the winner. Information is retained for a reasonable period after the campaign and then deleted. Questions: marketing@wurstfest.com.

  1. General conditions

Sponsor may amend these rules, or suspend or cancel any giveaway, at any time, for any reason, with notice posted on this page. Continuing to enter after a change means you accept it.

Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who violates these rules, tampers with the entry process, or acts in a disruptive or abusive manner toward Sponsor, a hosting partner, or another entrant.

If any provision of these rules is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

  1. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of this promotion is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Comal County, Texas.

Winners are announced on the hosting partner’s post. For a list of winners after the campaign ends, email marketing@wurstfest.com or write to Sponsor at the address above, referencing “Wurstfest Neighbors Winners List,” by December 31, 2026.
